You don't have to manage the job search process alone. MCMA's Coordinator of Internships and Placement, Krissi Geary-Boehm teaches professional development workshops and a half semester seminar class during the fall and spring semesters that help students develop resumes, cover letters, and other necessary materials as well as help them with other professional development skills. All students need a solid resume and cover letter for internship and job searches. These materials are also required to apply for the Extern Program and MCMA's summer internship programs (Hollywood Studies, Chicago Studies, New York Studies, Nashville Studies, and D.C. Studies). The deadline for applying to the Extern Program will be in mid-November, and the deadline for applying for the Studies Programs will be Friday, January 28, 2011.
