The College of Mass Communication and Media Arts also provides Career Services professional development workshops and a half semester seminar course during the fall and spring semesters that help students develop resumes, cover letters, and other necessary materials as well as help with other professional development skills. COMPUTER/MEDIA LAB ASSISTANTS

Provide practical assistance and technical support in a Mac OS X computer lab. Positions require dependable, punctual, self-motivated students with excellent customer service/people skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and flexible morning, night, and weekend availability. Ideal candidates are undergraduate freshmen and sophomores with hands-on-digital media productions experience (as video editors, audio pros, graphic designers, visual effects artists, etc.), majoring in Cinema & Photography, Radio-Television, Journalism, Art & Design, and Music. Master Control Operator

Previous Master Control experience. Mandatory VOLUNTEER TRAINING to start (all operators begin as volunteers for at least 1 semester).. Familiar with tape set for on-air playback; satellite down linking experience; various duties associated with master control. Broadcasting Services Communications Bldg 1048 and 1075.
