The Global Media Research Center will sponsor an all-day event on Friday, March 24th, 2006 at the Kleinau Theater entitled "'Race' & Media in Comparative Perspective: Europe, Canada and the Spanish Caribbean". The event will feature presentations by three experts in this field of research.

This presentation features Yeidy Rivero (Indiana University, Bloomington): 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Presentation title: "Televisual Mestizaje: Representing Race and Nation in Puerto Rico's Commercial Television".
