Michael Curtin is Professor of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His books include Redeeming the Wasteland: Television Documentary and Cold War Politics; Playing to the Worldís Biggest Audience: The Globalization of Chinese Film and TV; and Re-Orienting Global Communication: Indian and Chinese Media Beyond Borders (co-editor).
