Discussing her exhibition, Facing East, contemporary landscape photography from Baltic areas (Uk tour, 2004/6) Liz Wells argues that curation may be founded in research processes, involving research questions, investigation, discovery and critical reflection, which parallel more established models of academic enquiry.
