Students at the School of Journalism use state-of-the-art equipment and receive essential education for today’s tech-savvy society.

MCMA computer labs are available and easily accessible for anything you would need – whether it’s producing quality media, engaging in spirited discussions that involve media theory, or critiquing projects. Our teaching areas include seminar rooms, critique rooms, and lecture classrooms that provide what you need to succeed.

Journalism and other MCMA students can reside in Kellogg Hall. This Living Learning community is in an idyllic setting only a four minute walk from the Communications Building.

The SIU dining halls serve plenty of fresh healthy food, much of it grown locally.  They strive to meet dietary needs of all students, including those with special requirements.

Getting around campus can be a bit confusing the first few days - be sure to check out the campus map.
